Cedar Raised Beds

Description

Made from high quality Cedar wood, these raised beds will stand the test of time whilst offering value for money. Each cedar board is 14.5cm high x 2.8cm thick and is planed for an attractive finish.

Please Note that the wood does not have pre drilled holes and requires an electric drill to install.

Please note that as timber is a natural product and is susceptible to shrinkage/swelling, all sizes are therefore nominal +/- 5mm.

Sizes apply to external dimensions.

Please note: The wood is not treated. Cedar is an extremely durable wood, resistant to natural decay and rot meaning it lasts longer than pressure treated equivalents. Also naturally repellent to insects.

Raised bed kits are supplied with cedar boards, internal corner fixing posts, galvanised screws and full instructions.

We lined our raised beds in the illustration with our weed control fabric and staples (not included). All wood is locally sourced from the Cotswolds from a small forest enterprise. Horses are used for the extraction of the wood to minimise the carbon footprint and also lowers the impact on the soil.
